Since qualifying, she has been working in London in various settings and across several age groups. Hatel is registered with the Health Care Professional Council (HCPC) and the British Psychological Society (BPS).She offers therapy for both individuals and groups/families.

Hatel believes therapy is a process that is collaborative and should be personalised in its approach. Whilst she mainly draws her clinical practice from cognitive behavioural therapy, she believes that therapy should primarily meet one’s needs and preferences. Therefore her core belief in therapy is to be integrative and to take from the person centred; third wave therapies such as mindfulness, acceptance, commitment and narrative therapy to meet the client’s needs and difficulties they present with. Hatel is able to offer therapy to help treat mood disorders such as anxiety (specific social, phobia or separation anxiety) and depression. Hatel specialises in offering therapy to those who are experiencing anxiety, stress and burn out as a result of life changes, work, and or family events and the impact this can have on their body. In addition, she has specialist experience in offering therapy for trauma and has completed trauma specific training. She is also currently training as an eye movement desensitisation and reprocessing (EMDR) therapist. Hatel has undertaken various training to support her role a supervisor as well as conducting research in the area of functional medical symptoms. She is committed to work holistically with her clients to help develop their confidence in increasing their emotional wellness and self care.
